These meshes were created with Pointwise Current as of June 16, 2021 These grids are generally intended for the High Order TFG; they include both linear and high-order grids, with various min y+. This family does NOT follow the HLPW-4 gridding guidelines (NFGG = not following gridding guidelines). These are currently provided at Coarse, Medium and Fine levels. This set of grids is provided in a different way than most others on this site. Because these grids are generally smaller and are continuously being added to, each entire directory is occasionally tarred up anew, containing all grids for a given "level". Details are not available regarding what grids are contained in each tarred directory, although some notes are provided below; the contents of the directories will grow with each successive update. The grid naming convention should provide information regarding some of the key grid characteristics. Questions should be addressed to the POC. Notes: Both UGRID (little endian) and CGNS formats are provided. CGNS files are missing BC information, but the Element node naming provides some relevant information. If there are no ‘Q’s in the name they are linear meshes. Q2 are quadratic. Q3 are cubic. Q4 are quartic. Curving process creates mixed order meshes in the transient. So, e.g., Q1-Q2 are mixed linear and quadratic. Coarse, Medium, Fine series do NOT follow the HLPW-4 guidelines. In the Coarse, Medium & Fine series, the type "Hybrid" was not created, instead opting for the Prism-Tet ("P-T") version. The file *.Statistics captures the statistics such as number of nodes and elements. The file *.ShapeConformity provides shape conformity information. The file *.Metrics provides metrics information.
