This grid has been posted both as V1 and as V2. (The reason for V2 is that the original JSM (optional) fine grids were found to have some collapsed edges. Some codes cannot handle this. The grids were re-done, and in the process the medium grids were re-done as well (even though they did not have collapsed edges, the fixing did improve the mesh quality in some areas.) There has been a slight change in number of gridpoints between V1 and V2. Medium-level grids (as interpreted by the grid author(s)) for JSM, one without nacelle/pylon, and one with nacelle/pylon. Created by ANSA software via joint collaboration between University of Oxford and BETA-CAE Systems. ----------------------------- V2: Case 2a: 51,941,548 nodes; 107,460,095 cells Case 2c: 58,275,850 nodes; 120,167,943 cells V1: Case 2a: 52,697,852 nodes; 108,519,653 cells Case 2c: 58,267,292 nodes; 120,213,635 cells The grids in this directory were created through a collaboration between BETA-CAE Systems and University of Oxford using ANSA v17.1.0 They are unstructured prismatic/tetrahedral. There is : 1 grid level (medium) for Case 2a (JSM no nacelle/pylon) 1 grid level (medium) for Case 2c (JSM with nacelle/pylon) Please see ANSA_HLW3_JSM_v2.pdf for details on the JAXA JSM mesh generation process. NOTE 1: the author's original naming of the actual grids has been retained. However, please note that these grids are globally referred to as: "E-JSM_UnstrMixed_ANSA" for the purpose of the workshop. NOTE 2: the grid authors have also provided "bonus" FINE grids. These are for optional use only. Contacts: Neil Ashton neil.ashton@oerc.ox.ac.uk Vangelis Skaperdas vangelis@beta-cae.com
